Make a request

Multi-functional winch unit for all types of logging operations in oil-and-gas wells.

Logging operation is possible both from container truck chassis and as a standalone container.

Container divided on 3 compartments - operator’s bay, winch bay and Power Pack.

The Power Pack may be produced as a separate module.

Unit may be shipped together with the modified truck equipped with container platforms, integrated tool racks for logging instrumentation, ladder to the operator’s bay, tool racks, and belly boxes for radioactive source containers.

Trailer socket and tow bars may be added.

Truck is additionally equipped with a rear bumper with a ladder to the winch section, and built in places for tools, vices and auxiliary equipment.

Drum mount

Drum mount consists of welded frame, drum, transmission, braking system and measuring head, combined with spooler and bent parking brakes.

Hydraulic drive provides:

- smoth cable movement

- wide speed range

- low-speed logging methods

- hydraulic dynamic braking is realized in two versions:

- hydromechanical - through the circuit

- hydraulic - built in transmition

Braking system provides:

- smoth braking in movement

- relible parking brake

Spooler is equipped with autospooling with manual correction. Autospooling may be manually deactivated.

Quick replacement of the entire drum mount and of separate drum is provided.

Winch bay

Winch bay contains: winch, tool racks with pneumatic locks for instruments, containers for transporting readioactive sources, external electric connection and earthing cable reels, rear view spot-light, sheave wheels and other additional equipment.

Interior of the body is coated with corrosion-resistant paint, the floor is covered with nonslip material and equipped with drain tray.

Roof hatch may be opened at 90° to provide upper sheave view and to replace winch and drum. Hydraulic and electric connectors are of quick-detachable type. Side walls are fitted with hatches for mainaining winch drive.

Measurement and control system

Two types of measuring heads might be applied:

- WireHead for lines up to 12 mm cables

- SlickHed for lines up to 6 mm wire and cables

Displaying and recording of values:

- depth, speed and line tension

- differential tension

- power unit parameters

- hydraulic system parameters and diagnostics

- alarms, emergency stop messages

- real time diagrams

There are automatic modes:

- constant speed

- constant tensionl

- emergency stop under critical parameters (tension, differential tension)

- 50 m before surface stop

- programmed run- in-hole under preset depth and speed range

- logging operation parameters log (black box)

BOP control system may be installed.
