Mast unit

Multi-functional unit for all types of operations in oil-and-gas wells under pressure.

Mat truck consist of an operator’s bay and open platform with a telescoping mast and drum mount, based on MAN, IVECO, MERSEDES, and DAF trucks.

This unit enables making geophysical survey of wells in a standard mode (horizontal cable runway), and by using telescoping mast (vertical cable runway).

Drum mount

Drum mount consists of welded frame, drum, transmission, braking system and measuring head, combined with spooler and bent parking brakes.

Hydraulic drive provides:

- smoth cable movement

- wide speed range

- low-speed logging methods

- hydraulic dynamic braking is realized in two versions:

- hydromechanical - through the circuit

- hydraulic - built in transmition

Braking system provides:

- smoth braking in movement

- relible parking brake

Spooler is equipped with autospooling with manual correction. Autospooling may be manually deactivated.

Quick replacement of the entire drum mount and of separate drum is provided.

Open platform

Open platform is equipped with:

- a telescoping mast togethter with auxiliary winch and control system

- winch

- tool racks with pneumatic locks for downhole tools

- containers for readioactive sources

- electric cable drums

- outside spot-light

- sheave wheels

- tool rack for transportating lubricator and other additional equipment.

The floor of the platform is covered with nonislip material and equipped with drain tray.

Measurement and control system

Special levelwind device mounted at the mast base is used.

Imaging and recording of values:

- in depth, speed and line tension

- of differential line tension

- of power unit data

- of hydraulic system data and diagnostics

There are automatic modes:

- speed and tension control

- emergency shutdown under critical parameters (tension, differential tension)

- shutdown at wellhead

- programmed run- in-hole under preset depth and speed range

- RIH/POOH log keeping (black box)

BOP control system may be installed.
